Week 5 — The Dipper in Chinese Astronomy

1. For Lucy 悟

Learn the 北斗七星 (Northern Dipper); draw the ladle shape.

2. For Lucas 空

Study the 斗建 system: the Dipper as a celestial clock dividing the sky into 12 divisions.

3. Three-Eyed Seeing 三眼观世

   Second Eye: 候

4. 候 · Waiting & Watching

Go outside after dark, look up in silence (Nipaitsoq), and add a dated entry to your sky journal — what you saw, and what you wondered.

5. Unit Activity 動手做

Build a Dipper model — use clay and sticks to build a 3D model showing how far apart the seven stars really are.
